Porcelain Veneers and Cosmetic Bonding in Richmond

Designed tooth by tooth around your face, your smile and your goals. You see the plan before anything begins.

Veneers and bonding, designed around you

No two smiles are treated the same way here. Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-crafted shells bonded to the front of prepared teeth. Composite bonding is resin sculpted directly onto the tooth, often in a single visit. Both can address chips, gaps, discolouration and uneven shape. Which one suits you comes down to your teeth, your bite and what matters to you, and that's exactly what we work through together at your consultation.

Designed to your features

Each veneer is planned around your facial structure, tooth shape and preferred shade. You review the plan, including a digital preview where suitable, before deciding whether to proceed.Your veneers are planned around your facial structure, tooth proportions and preferred shade, then crafted in a dental laboratory. Where suitable, a digital smile design lets you preview and refine the plan with your dentist before you decide anything.

Porcelain is strong and resists staining; with good care, veneers can last many years, though longevity varies with your bite, habits and oral health, and they can chip or need replacement over time. Bonding has a shorter lifespan but is easily repaired and refreshed.

Nothing happens without your say-so

Veneers usually require removing a small amount of enamel, and this step is not reversible. Bonding typically involves little or no tooth preparation. Cared for like your own teeth

Brushing, flossing and regular examinations, that's it. Composite can pick up stains over time and can be polished or replaced when it does. We'll show you exactly how to keep everything looking its best.

A considered process, one step at a time

It starts with a conversation. At your Smile Consultation we examine your teeth, take photographs and talk honestly about what's achievable for you, including whether veneers or bonding are the right approach at all. If you choose veneers, your teeth are prepared, which usually involves removing a small amount of enamel and is not reversible, then your veneers are crafted in a dental laboratory and fitted at a following visit. Bonding is usually sculpted and finished in a single appointment.

Costs depend on how many teeth are treated and the complexity of your case. You'll have a written, itemised plan in hand before anything starts, and flexible payment options including Afterpay, Zip, in-house plans and SuperCare.

The honest conversation

Veneers and bonding are elective procedures, and we'd rather you understand everything involved before you decide, not after.

Risks worth understanding

Like all dental treatment, veneers and bonding carry risks: tooth sensitivity, chipping or debonding, irreversible enamel removal for veneers, and the likelihood of repair or replacement in future. Results vary from person to person. Full details are on our Treatment risks and considerations page.

Comfort throughout

We plan each visit around your comfort, explain every step before it happens, and pace treatment so nothing feels rushed. Temporary veneers are an option while your porcelain veneers are being crafted.

Start with a conversation

Can you help with dental anxiety?

Yes, and you're not alone in asking.

Plenty of our patients arrive nervous, and we've set the practice up with that in mind: Netflix on the ceiling, noise-cancelling headphones, stress balls, and happy gas if you'd like it. Tell us what you're worried about when you book, and we'll go at your pace, explain everything before we do it, and stop whenever you need a breather.

First step is a chat, nothing more.

Highly recommend Elevate Dentistry. I visited as a new patient with some dentistry anxiety. The clinic is extremely clean, calming, and the team are accommodating and kind. The clean and check up was very thorough. I would highly recommend to others, particular those with anxiety about dentists.
